Acceptable Use Policy

Rules protecting clubs, members, and the Firetender service from misuse.

Permitted use

Use Firetender for lawful club or organisation administration by people authorised by that organisation.

Prohibited use

  • Accessing or attempting to access another organisation’s data or account.
  • Uploading unlawful, malicious, infringing, deceptive, or unnecessarily sensitive content.
  • Using communications for spam, harassment, purchased lists, or messages without an appropriate relationship and legal basis.
  • Probing, bypassing, or disrupting security, rate limits, authentication, or availability except under an agreed security test.
  • Reselling, scraping, reverse engineering beyond mandatory legal rights, or using the service to build a competing dataset.
  • Uploading payment-card data, passwords, national identity documents, health records, or special-category data unless Firetender has expressly agreed a suitable workflow.

Enforcement

Firetender may throttle, isolate, or suspend activity reasonably believed to create an immediate legal, security, privacy, or availability risk. Where practical, the customer will receive notice, evidence, and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
